The Martinez Gun Club hosts one club shoot per month every third Saturday from February thru November for our members. Our Club Shoots are geared towards all skill levels, at these shoots anybody can win as we have multiple classes and handicaps. Novices as well as veterans always stand a good chance of winning prizes and money. So, please don’t be intimidated. This is as much about fun as it is competition!

The Club Shoot starts at 10:00am and the office opens at 8:00am.

Thursday Night Wobble Shoot and Dinner

We hold our Wobble Shoots on selected Thursday evenings for members only. You can shoot 2 rounds of wobbles (50 targets) and have a sumptuous filet mignon dinner with all the trappings. We also have great raffles and dinner is right after the shoot.

Volunteer Logo Volunteer Program

The Martinez Gun Club is always in need of volunteers for the care and maintenance of our facilities. With a club as large as ours with all of its moving parts and exposure to the elements we need:

Field Work, Carpenters, Mechanics, Plumbers, Painters, Electricians, Lawyers, Accountants, Scorekeepers (shooting events)

At the end of 2012, we embarked on a program whereby members who volunteer a minimum of 6 hours of work will be invited to a party where we will have entertainment and great food. You will be provided with an admission ticket that will serve as a raffle ticket where we will award various high end items like shotguns, shooting accessories and other items. Each six hours that you work, will result in an additional ticket to the party. There are no limits! The more you work, the more tickets you will be awarded. There is a signup sheet at the Club’s bulletin board where you may add your name to the volunteer list. This will be maintained by Greg Fahmie. Don’t forget to identify your skills and contact information so we may contact you for work activities.

Board meetings are every second Tuesday (except January) and always open, but to MGC members only.

Board positions are also only open to MGC members. Members nominated for any board position, director or officer must have been paid members in good standing for the two (2) consecutive years immediately preceding the term nominated as a board member.
